Job Description

This role is responsible for leading Scoot's business in Japan.

Responsibilities

• Planning, strategizing and driving sales and marketing activities towards meeting revenue targets in Japan
• Timely Management Reporting supported by strong local and competitor insights, and deep data analysis to help drive strategic decisions
• Leading the Japan sales team in acquiring new partners, and enhancing the experience for existing ones through engagement, communication and servicing 
• Overseeing Finance and Administration matters in compliance with company and audit requirements
• Monitor and facilitate regulatory developments in support of company's expansion efforts in Japan
• Designated Point-Of-Contact (POC) for projects pertaining to Scoot's business in Japan

Requirements

• General Degree, with relevant Sales/Commercial experience in Aviation
• Experience leading a team and proven track record of successful sales in a national-level portfolio
• Analytical and articulate, able to remain calm under pressure
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and without complete information
• Aviation enthusiast and passionate about what the company stands for
• Self-starter, hands-on and strong team player, able to inspire others positively
• To be based in Tokyo, Japan and willingness to travel within Japan and to HQ in Singapore
